If the courier deems the authority to leave as an unsafe area to leave the parcel they may leave a card and return the parcel to the depot. If you authorise 'Authority to leave' at the Checkout, give clear instructions of where to leave your parcel and the courier will do their best to follow these instructions. Unfortunately, the cost of redelivery by our courier company is $20.00 and this fee will be passed on to the customer should this occur. If customers select not to have 'Authority to leave'their order without a signature and it is a bulky parcel that requires an alternate courier service other than Australia Post and no-one is at the chosen delivery address to sign for the parcel when it arrives, then a redelivery will need to be attempted.
